Integral and Client Centered
Psychotherapy

Hey there, I’m Pericles.

(pronounced: perry·kleez)

My approach to psychotherapy is integrative, rooted in a client-centered, relational framework, and informed by psychodynamic theory, transpersonal psychology, and Eastern contemplative practices.

I believe that healing and growth happen through genuine human connection. I bring my full humanity to my practice and invite you to show up just as you are. I create a warm, collaborative space, leading with genuine curiosity, and at times playfulness and humor. In all ways, I strive to support you in exploring how to get to what matters most to you, and in working toward meaningful, lasting change.

I love working with people from all walks of life—different ages, cultural backgrounds, and sexual orientations. Whether you’re navigating a big life transition, relationship issues, trauma or self development, my goal is to support you in your journey toward a more fulfilled and balanced life.

Integral and Client-Centered Philosophy

Imagine entering a space that honors every facet of your being—your thoughts and emotions, your past experiences and present challenges, your values, dreams, and aspirations. Instead of relying on just one viewpoint, I draw from a wide range of perspectives, gently weaving together insights from different approaches. This means we can consider how your behavior patterns, underlying emotions and unconscious drives, personal sense of purpose, and even your capacity for profound growth all play a part in who you are and who you’re becoming.

I will be here with warmth, openness, and understanding, offering a safe place for you to speak freely, listen to yourself, and discover your own inner guidance. Rather than telling you what to do, I will walk beside you, helping you recognize and trust the wisdom you already carry within. Over time, this nurturing process can bring greater clarity, resilience, and compassion for yourself. Together, we’ll create a path toward feeling more whole, more at peace, and more deeply connected to who you truly are.

My Approach

  • I work relationally, meaning I pay particular attention to the relationship between therapist and client as a key element in the healing process. By examining the patterns and dynamics that arise between us, we can uncover the ways you relate to others and yourself, paving the way for more genuine connections, self-awareness, and deeper understanding.

  • I incorporate a psychodynamic approach in my work, which means I explore how unconscious thoughts, feelings, and past experiences influence current behaviors and relationships. By bringing these deeper layers of the psyche into awareness, we can uncover patterns, gain insight, and foster healing, leading to greater self-understanding and emotional freedom.

  • I draw upon a transpersonal approach, which recognizes that personal growth and healing often extend beyond ordinary states of awareness. By exploring spiritual dimensions, transcendent experiences, and deeper levels of consciousness, this approach can help you cultivate a sense of meaning, purpose, and interconnectedness with yourself, others, and the world at large.

  • I incorporate contemplative practices in my work, inviting the use of mindfulness, meditation, and reflective exercises to cultivate presence and self-awareness. These approaches encourage you to settle into the moment, observe your inner experiences without judgment, and develop greater compassion toward yourself, ultimately fostering resilience, clarity, and personal growth.
